Patrick Harrington, Knight Commander of the Priory of St Martin of Wyoming rests in God’s hands following his passing on August 30, 2025. Family and friends were truly blessed to be a part of his remarkable journey. He was 73.
He lived an extraordinary life full of adventure — Master Falconer to dedicated Beekeeper, and as an entrepreneur building a successful business. Patrick flew eagles with the Kazakhs in Mongolia, hunted game in Africa, and attended business meetings in Egypt. Later in life Patrick received his service dog, Wrigley, and they became inseparable as Patrick pursued his many interests from Author to knighted as a Knights Templar.
One of his greatest legacies was the inspiration he gave through his life of 39 years of sobriety, which he always said was the most important thing he had ever done. Patrick was a true friend to many, always extending a hand to those who found themselves in troubled waters.
Patrick’s bonds with his family were close and unbreakable. He is survived by his brother Michael Harrington, his sisters Lora Kraynick and Bridget Harrington, who will carry on with cherished memories of joy and laughter shared with him.
His son, Gabriel Harrington, and grandchildren, Eli and Bella, brought him immense happiness. He was endlessly supportive and deeply interested in their pursuits and reveled in their accomplishments. Though they will miss him dearly, their experiences with Patrick will continue with them.
Patrick’s beloved wife, Olivia, was the love of his life. She carries forward not only his memory but also the legacy of his spirit, business and adventures. His favorite saying was, “Don’t quit before the miracle.” Indeed, his life — and even his passing — was God’s miracle.
